I am almost equally yellow, blue, and green. I am 13 yellow, 12 blue and 12 green. There are so many yellow traits that I do not relate to at all but others I do. I feel I'm a combination.

The needs part is what makes this so difficult. Looking at the big picture of what each type is I would say I'm a Melancholic/Phlegmatic. I've taken numerous tests (perhaps 7 or so), including the one given in this book, and all have said I was Melancholic. Most said Phlegmatic was my secondary and a few said Sanguine was. The problem with the needs though is that I can see myself requiring the needs of all the types. I can even think of distinct examples of myself when my actions proved these needs. So what does that mean then? I can't be all the types, can I?

Wow this was really helpful never for once thought I had a choleric temperament as my mbti revealed ISFJ, it seems like I had been damaged from my childhood from constant bullying, scolding and rejection, so grateful to learn this is my original temperament

Ha, ha. As a blue, I have always wanted reds to share their thought process behind their mandates so that I can pick them apart. Even if they don't, I always point out the obstacles and this frustrates them to no end.

Have noticed many cholerics who refused to acknowledge their weaknesses lose both relationships and jobs.

I am a blue married to a green. But, in terms of friendships, I 100% agree. I have always felt a strong vibe with yellows and rarely have a sense of being in conflict with them. The only real differences are energy levels and sociability.

I have a question about what type of school works for a yellow child? I am drowning in frustration because of the many emails and notes I get from teachers at my child's school. Or can you point me to a resource to guide me in choosing a better school for my child? I am a blue parent, but I become red when frustrated and stressed.
